Battling the elements successfuly at community courses

The Aldershot Town & District Football in the Community ‘Summer 2017’ courses have got off to a wet but wonderful start.

Over 90 juniors have attended the first two weeks and battled the elements successfully at Oakley Park and King George V playing fields, making it the biggest and best holiday football course in the area.

Guided by FA qualified coaches as well as Trust mascot, Community Kid, the youngsters have learnt new skills and expanded upon others whilst making ‘many’ new friends in a fun environment. There’s even been time to put their brains to the test during rain breaks with our challenging quizzes and games – well done to Harley who was our latest quiz master!

With the groups split in to lower and upper age ranges, we have seen a vast amount of talented players between 5-14 years old train like pro’s and show great application. Our players of the week, who can be seen pictured with their trophies on our social media platforms, have particularly shown infectious enthusiasm as well as commitment, good attitude and ability.

A ‘huge thank you’ must go to the parents and guardians who have brought the children down in their numbers so far and supported us in all weathers. We hope to see you again soon.

There’s still a chance to become a ‘Summer 2017 hero’ by visiting our booking page and joining us for Oakley Park and Manor Park courses.

Don’t forget to check our Facebook and Twitter pages for all the latest photos and updates.

See you soon,
AT FITC.
