COMMUNITY OUT IN FORCE FOR CHURCH CROOKHAM

COMMUNITY OUT IN FORCE FOR CHURCH CROOKHAM

The community were out in force for the Church Crookham fun day at Peter Driver playing fields.

Many families gathered to compete amongst each other at Street Snooker, an innovative and family inclusive outdoor target game. Amongst those trying their luck at the game was Aldershot Town FITC mascot, Community Kid, who scored highly both on the leader board and with those in attendance.

The juniors were also invited to hone their skills during a training session delivered by the Trusts community coaches. This was then followed by a tournament overseen by CK himself.

All the children in attendance were informed about the outstanding work that ABF The Soldiers’ Charity do in providing financial and practical support to soldiers, veterans and their immediate family in times of need. The juniors were even treated to an ABF ‘skills ball’ to take home and practice with.

Thank you to all at Church Crookham Parish Council for organising the event.
